A collaborative effort among twenty-two federal agengies, DisabilityInfo.gov connects people with disabilities to the information and resources they need to actively participate in the workforce and in their communities. The site has a wealth of information on employment, education, housing, transportation, health, benefits, technology, community life and civil rights.
The ARC offers resources on advocacy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. On their webpage, click "Resources" for fact sheets and other publications or "Federal Legislative Action Center" for information on public policy activities at the national level and how to get involved.
The American Chronic Pain Association raises awareness, provides support, and educates individuals with chronic pain, family members, legislators, providers, and the community.
