IRRC Website

The Independent Regulatory Review Commission (IRRC) website at www.irrc.state.pa.us allows users to review proposed and final regulations, public comments, legislative comments and the Commission comments and publications.  There are several search features and a new “Sign up for Email Notifications” option that will provide regular e-mails on topics of interest.

Attached is a fact sheet briefly explaining several issues related to medical decision-making for persons with mental retardation.   Please note also that, while this fact sheet specifically references persons with mental retardation, the points discussed would be applicable to any situation involving a person whose disability impairs his/her ability to make medical decisions.
